AOC CGPL Spring 2017 is set to commence today, with eight Oceanic teams pit against each other for a lion's share of the ~$12,350 USD prize pot.

Chiefs defended their title at the AOC CGPL Winter 2017 Finals against Tainted Minds in the grand final, with both teams securing their spot at the CGPL Championship in November.

The two CGPL Winter finalists return for the Spring season, taking place on September 3 to October 6, alongside Grayhound and Athletico. The remaining spots witnessed AVANT, SIN, Kings and Riotous Raccoons earn their positions in the league through the closed qualifier.
